DIVORCE
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
I Peter 5:7
“Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband. But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife.
I Corinthians 7:10-11
We live in an era when the above is not widely followed or even known. Too many of us are divorced, and too many of us never wanted it. However, there is not only instruction in God’s Word, there is also comfort. If you have known the heartache and misery of divorce, turn to the Heavenly Father, He’ll lead you on.
“In my distress I called upon the Lord,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.” Psalm 18:6
“For I, the Lord your God,
will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’”
Isaiah 41:13
We were created by God in His own image. He loves us more than a mate could ever love us. Receive His love and have
faith in His help and guidance.
“….being confident of this, that He Who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 1:6
