ZECHARIAH 9:9

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.”

The King rode into town on a foal.

MATTHEW 21:9

"Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:
HOSANNA to the Son of David!
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
HOSANNA in the highest!"

Hosanna means save now.

JEREMIAH 31:7

"Make your praises heard, and say, 'O Lord, save your people.'"

Jesus came to save the people from their sins, not from their oppression by man.

When the King comes again, He will be riding on a great white horse!

Put your hope in Jesus, the King.
