TRUTH IN JESUS


In John 18:37, Jesus said, “For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth.” In verse 38, Pilate responded,
“What is truth?”


As a government official, Pilate thought truth was relative. Whatever gained him favor, he deemed to be just and correct. Is this true today? In order to advance their own agendas, do our elected officials just go along with whatever the majority says or does, agreeing even with falsehoods in order to be “politically correct?” Does politically correctness always reflect truth?


“Jesus said, “…you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 8:31


The real truth is found in the Word of God. The truth sets us free from the bondage of falsehood and sin.

Jesus taught us saying:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6

The Good Shepherd leads the way in truth,
and righteousness.
