Do You Want a Mansion?

Jesus will prepare you one!

Because Adam and Eve disobeyed God (sinned against Him), we live in a fallen world-a world where sin is alive and well.  The penalty for sinning against God is death, but because God loved us so much and wanted fellowship with us, He provided redemption. 

The Bible says:

 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
John 3:16

Sin separates us from God.

"...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..."
 Romans 3:23

 By believing in His Son and receiving Him as Lord and Savior we are united with God forever, and our heavenly home is secure.  Jesus took the sins of the world upon Himself and put them to death on the cross, fulfilling the penalty for all mankind's sins.

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him."
Romans 5:8-9

The cross is the bridge over to the family of God.  By receiving Christ as Lord and Savior, our sins are forgiven, and we are adopted into God's family.

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the
right to become children of God...."
John 1:11

Those who pray to God, asking for forgiveness of their sins and receiving Jesus into their hearts as Lord and Savior will have a mansion in heaven!  Jesus said:

"Let not your heart be be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so,
I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you."
John 14:1-2
